introducing Bowen-Dryden
Sharon Bowen-Dryden is a world leading Haute Couture Fashion Designer, and is well established in the Bridal industry, both for designing her cutting edge, alternative Bridal collections, (showcased at The White Gallery and London Fashion Week in London), and creating exclusive unique Bridal Gowns for individual high profile clients.
Bowen-Dryden`s main inspiration came at an early age watching her Couturier mother, create day dresses for the royal princesses. This highly skilled and talented lady mentored Bowen-Dryden in all aspects of the industry, from design, pattern making to construction and corsetry, which she is well renowned internationally.
Bowen-Dryden trained at Bristol University, where she obtained an honours degree in fashion design and illustration, creating a standing ovation in her first fashion show in London. With this success and the backing of her London peers she steered her path to Paris to work with some of the world`s top Haute Couture designers.
Her highly creative potential soon became apparent, and Bowen–Dryden was quickly designing for Chloe, Thiery Mugler, Kenzo, Tokio Kumagai, Hubert Aimetti and shoes for Stephan Kelian. Working alongside Francois Lesage of Le Maison Lesage (L`aiguille d`or) to create innovative embroideries for Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix.
With a string of red carpet celebrity clients and television work to her portfolio, Bowen Dryden is often seen in glossy international fashion magazines, Brides, You and Your Wedding, Vogue,Tatler and is loved by high fashion and lifestyle publications like House of Coco and Feroce.
Love for colour and the unusual, and a keen eye for fashion has prompted her to create collections under the brand BOWEN DRYDEN aimed at a modern contemporary, style conscious and cool bride. Collections that have a bang on trend feel with the latest concept embroideries, alternative colours and innovative shapes.
BOWEN DRYDEN certainly pushes the boundary.
