About

Sharon Bowen-Dryden is a world-leading Haute Couture fashion designer, who is well established in the bridal industry. She is renowned for designing distinctive, innovative bridal collections and for creating unique and exclusive bridal gowns for individual clients.

Sharon’s talent was nurtured at an early age whilst studying her couturier mother, a leading sample machinist who created day dresses for the (then) royal princesses Elizabeth and Margaret. This incredibly talented lady taught Sharon a wealth of skills in corsetry, beading and innovative pattern cutting, for which Sharon is internationally recognised.

Sharon gained an honours degree in fashion design and illustration, earning a standing ovation at her first London runway show. Following this success she headed to Paris, where her highly creative potential very quickly became apparent to some of the world’s top fashion houses. Soon Sharon was designing for Chloe, Thierry Mugler, Kenzo, Tokio Kumagai and Hubert Aimetti; in addition she designed shoes for Stephane Kelian. Sharon also worked alongside Francois Lesage of Maison Lesage to create innovative embroideries for Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix.

With a string of red-carpet celebrity clients and television work in her portfolio, Sharon has graced many pages of top international fashion magazines including Vogue, Tatler, Elle and Marie Claire, in France, America and the UK.

Sharon is delighted to bring her unique and glamorous style to the Cambridge area, providing a one-to-one design service for individual brides and showcasing her latest collections at prestigious venues and boutiques around the UK and beyond.
